Il concept del design finale deriva da un pezzo di legno che galleggia sull’acqua. Se lo si prende mano se ne sente il peso e lo spessore, ma quando galleggia in realtà si vede semplicemente un sottile foglio di legno adagiato su una superficie. Quello che non si vede è la struttura nascosta che lo sostiene. Questo è lo scopo dei nostri taglieri.
I nostri taglieri sono progettati utilizzando un legno naturale tradizionale che crea una solida base resistente con bordi graduati in maniera singolare, caratteristica che li rende anche molto prensili.
Questa sagoma smussata fa risaltare tutto ciò che si trova su di essa.
Forma e funzionalità si combinano in maniera armoniosa.
A traditional kitchen object used every day for cutting or just for serving food at the table. How can we change it? How can we make it more exiting, interesting and functional at the same time?
The final concept design comes from a piece of wood floating on water. If you pick it up you can feel the weight and thickness, but when it floats, what you actually see is a thin sheet of wood laying on a surface. What you don’t see is the structure supporting it, that is hidden under the surface. That is what this chopping board is all about. Designed with a solid. durable base, mode with a traditional natural material with edges cut at a 60 degree angle that makes it also very easy to pick up and move from the kitchen worktop to the dining table. The thin floating bezel makes anything that sits on it stand out without being an eyesore. Form and function are combined in harmony.
